Forever Mine (1999)

Forever is a hell of a long time, and mine is a hell of a slippery concept, particularly if referring to the wifely attributes of prized trophy tart Gretchen Mol in Forever Mine (1999). Director Paul Schrader, of Hardcore (1979) and American Gigolo (1980) fame, dips his ladle again into the steamy passions unleashed by the denizens of a murky underworld, this time charting the fallout from a torrid lust triangle with rival Miami drug lords competing to kill one another for the love of Gretchen Mol. Wait until you get a load of Mol before you assume murder is overreacting in pursuit of her favors.
