Expats (2024-)

Adapted from the novel by Janice Y.K.Lee, the series is a look at the lives of three women as their worlds collide on the night of a big birthday bash, thrown by one of them, Margaret (Nicole Kidman). She’s celebrating the birthday of her husband Clarke (Brian Tee), who she lives with in a luxury apartment building in Hong Kong. They have three kids, but the youngest, Gus (Connor Yuet Her Gilmman), has disappeared and she’s trying to distract herself from the grief. Her neighbor Hilary (Sarayu Blue) seems to dislike Margaret as mush as Clarke’s family, and is going through her own drama because her husband David (Jack Huston) wants kids, while she does not. Then there’s Mercy (Ji-young Yoo), a young, poor waitress working the party who we see having a slap-and-tickle - emphasis on the slap - with Hilary’s hubby. The sex may be rough but Ji-young’s breasts and booty are as smooth as butter!
