Era lui... sì! sì! (1951)

Sophia Loren stars in the saucy comedy Era lui... sì! sì! (1951), which, in English, means, "It's Him… Yes! Yes!" It is pretty incredible that this movie features such brazen nudity from the big boobed starlet Sophia Loren, but it is a European film and it was not held under the same censorship codes that Hollywood movies were at that time. Thank goodness for that because this comedy delivers us cheekiness, sexy jokes, and even sexier stars. Interestingly, the nude scenes were only released to French audiences and were allegedly filmed for exactly that purpose. That means that Americans got the alternative version that hid Sophia's suck sacks from the audiences' viewing pleasures. The French version has been lost to time with rumor having it that Sophia's then-hubby had the copies destroyed. This bawdy, high-camp bedroom farce was directed by Marino Girolami, who went on to be one of Italy's most prolific and eclectic filmmakers. But even if Girolami never touched a camera again after helming Era lui... sì! sì!, his mark on cinema would remain indelible, as this film delivers a glorious display of Sophia Loren at her most succulently topless. Sophia looks like the very best and most luscious girl in the harem when she is topless and wearing a sheer veil and sexy bottoms. These scenes featuring the topless icon Sophia Loren will have you screaming "it's HER! and her boobs!...yes! yes!". If we heard someone scream that out loud, then we'd likely reply that we'll have what they're having. And what they're having? Topless Sophia Loren!
