South African actress Elaine Lee was born Elaine Joye Knoesen in Springs, Gauteng South Africa, where she grew up on a gold mine. Elaine even revived the role in the big-screen adaptation Number 96 (1974) and made her nude debut, showing off her thirty-something year old breasts. They look like number-one to Mr. Skin! Elaine will forever be known as Vera Collins, though she did land longrunning roles as Margaret Gibson on Glenview High, Maria Costello on Heartbreak High, and the nymphomaniac Joan Collins on Bullpitt! Outside of a forgettable short film, Elaine last acted in the 2005 TV movie Blackjack: In the Money, before passing away in 2014.
