Effie Schou was in the documentary Why Do They Do It? (1971), playing herself, about technology innovation. A strange start for our sexy starlet. She got into her own groove with Bedside Dentist (1971), a Danish treat that showed that dentists weren’t only into teeth. But then came Rektor på sengekanten (1972), or Danish Bed and Board, about a young headmaster at a boys’ boarding school who funds his desires to improve educational opportunities by temporarily turning the school into a love hotel. Effie is cast as the Striptease Dancer and does a tabletop nude strut that shows off everything she’s got. It’s a real education.
