Don't Blame Karma! (2022)

Don’t Blame Karma! is a Mexican rom-com that hits all the typical tropes. Once when Sara (Aislinn Derbez) was a child, she blew out her younger sister Lucy’s (Renata Notni) birthday candles and stole her wish, causing Lucy to proclaim she would steal all of her wishes from then on. Sara blames all of her bad luck growing up, in love and in her struggling fashion career, on this one moment from her past and it might actually be the truth because Lucy is now engaged to Sara’s childhood best friend and crush Aaron (Gil Cerezo). Sara and Aaron reconnect, old memories are stirred up, and of course, the sparks start to fly despite his impending nuptials to her sister. It may be a typical rom-com, but it’s got its sexy moments, so don’t blame us if you skip this movie and miss out on Aislinn’s sexy dance moves in her bra or her late night swim with Cerezo.
