Devotion, a Story of Love and Desire (2022)

If you enjoyed either version of Scenes From a Marriage, Netflix is hopeful you'll enjoy the Italian series Devotion, a Story of Love and Desire! Carlo (Michele Riondino) is a writer and sometimes college professor married to Margherita (Lucrezia Guidone), a big time realtor who makes a handsome living that allows Carlo to only have to work part-time and focus mostly on his writing. On the surface, they seem like the picture of happiness, but lying just below the surface is a festering shared doubt about the other's fidelity to the marriage. As the six episode series progresses, we see that both Carlo and Margherita are having extra marital affairs, meaning that their suspicions of the other aren't completely unfounded. The show deals with these thorny issues of honesty and fidelity with a healthy heaping of nudity thrown in for good measure! Though both instances of nudity from series star Lucrezia Guidone are fleeting—we see her breasts briefly in one sex scene and her ass in another—there is some great supporting skin from both Chiara Causa and especially from Carolina Sala, who bares terrific T'n'A in a pair of nude scenes!
