In Desperately Seeking Susan (1985), bored and horny housewife Roberta (Rosanna Arquette) fills her dull days following the love life of Susan (Madonna), a mystery woman who frequently contacts her boyfriend via the personals. Seeing that the enigmatic pair is set to have a coupling in New York, Roberta travels to the city to watch.
