Deadline (1999)

A major Chicago newspaper’s publisher is found dead and the staff editor is blamed for the crime. The publisher was murdered at a pivotal time for the newspaper, a time when it was being taken over by larger corporations, so foul play is suspected. The editor is the leading culprit because he recently got fired for printing a controversial story, much to the disliking of the new corporate bosses. He meets up with a woman in the bar and things get violent and out of hand. He wakes up in a hospital bed, finding out then that he is being blamed for what happened to the publisher.

Playing the role of the hot temptress, Claire, Annie Dufresne is the best part of this movie. She has a unique body with a gorgeous face and unloads both T&A while looking enticing in lingerie. This succulent French Canadian actress makes this plotless film worthwhile just by her ravishing presence. With curves and a stare like that, I’d let her frame me murder just for a private glimpse.
