Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes (2022)

Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes (2022) is just a great title for a movie. Done as a love letter to the tony gothic European horror films of the 1960s and 70s (think Don't Look Now meets The Whip and the Body), the film tells the story of Margot (Luisa Taraz), a woman of noble descent who inherits a castle when a distant royal relative passes away... typical. Unfortunately, Margot's controlling husband Dieter (Frederik von Lüttichau) is along for the ride, but almost immediately after the couple arrives, they find time shifting around them as they're transported back in time where Margot assumes the role of her ancestor Lilith Tarenbach. In the film's most skinsational scene we are treated to a greased up orgy wherein star Luisa Taraz joins Elena Gomez Alvarez and a host of nude extras (including a bunch of dudes) all writhe together on a large bed. Think Brian Yuzna's Society (1989) only they stop short of shunting! It's a weird one... but a sexy one all the same!
