Danielle Burgio has one of those typically nonlinear career paths, starting as a dancer on Broadway and sidelining into getting slammed around as a stunt person in Hollywood. But before she created bruises on her first stunt gig in Batman Forever in 1995, Danielle threw in a little acting on The Cosby Show in 1990, and was a Texas Dancer in movie North with Bruce Willis and Elijah Wood. She went on to play tiny roles in notable films like Showgirls (1995), John Carpenter’s Vampires (1998), Spike Lee’s Summer of Sam (1999), Man on the Moon (1999) with Jim Carrey, and another John Carpenter special, Ghosts of Mars (2001) with Ice Cube. Simultaneously, Danielle was bumping up her stunt resume, doing work in Blade (1998), The Green Mile(1999), Pearl Harbor (2001), and One Hour Photo (2002). She also famously doubled for the character Trinity in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003). In acting, she nabbed the role of Alicia in House of the Dead 2 (2005), and bared her breasts (one looking larger than the other), then went for rolling-in-the-dirt nudity as Esmerelda in All Souls Day (2005). Danielle continued her trend of tiny parts in big flicks, and appeared in The Dictator (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), and The Hangover Part III (2013); and continued doing stunt work in films and in TV shows like Angel, Ghost Whisperer, Entourage, Workaholics, and Scandal. While the shortest path between two points is a straight line, it appears as if the nonlinear way is the most exciting, and sometimes filled with boobs.
