Daniela made her screen debut in the Costa Rican drama La Región Perdida (2009), making a fairly sizable impression on audiences across the Central American country, though she wasn't quite ready to take the plunge into being a full time actress. A decade later, Daniela came roaring back onto the Costa Rican cinema scene with two roles that got her the kind of attention she deserved! The first was in a short film titled Pasajera (2019) that deals with some tricky subject matter in a sensitive way, but it was the feature she led that same year that finally brought it all together! Daniela took the lead in The Awakening of the Ants (2019), which toured the festival circuit all over the world and brought her a ton of acclaim!
