Beverly Hills 90210 meets The West Wing, only not nearly as succesful as either. An ill-fated midseason replacement from 2000, D.C. offered a few beautiful young people who spend their days running around playing grown-up; as in tawdry love affairs, predictable courtroom cases, and several bland discussions on the nature of (snicker) young politicians. Nobody really watched; the show was canned. Beauties Jacinda Barrett and Kristanna Loken were helplessly mired in this forgettable failure.
