It all began with The Golden Pill (1968). That was Claudia Butenuth’s movie debut. The German, who was born in Lower Saxony, was destined for better things, such as showing her lower things. She followed that up with Castle of Bloody Lust (1968), some boob-tube appearances, When My Darling Stands Up (1971), Willi Manages the Whole Thing (1972), and What Have You Done to Solange? (1972). Let’s stop and ponder that lust . . . ah, last one. Based on a novel by Edgar Wallace, considered the father of the bloody Italian genre giallo, the movie takes place in an all-girls Catholic school that is rife with lesbianism, sex parties with older men, and a mysterious murderer who dresses like a priest and sends his victims to hell. Claudia shows it all in the shower and then gets tied to a chair topless for a torture session with the killer. Sure, Claudia went on to appear in dozens of films and TV shows, but after this, her sole skin onscreen, it all went downhill.
