If you’re one of those nerdy people who enjoys watching anime and playing anime-related video games, you’ve probably heard Cherami Leigh’s voice—she’s done almost 80 video games, and voiced over… wait, you know what? It would be easier to count how many times the Texas-born beauty has actually appeared on screen, rather than how often she’s been behind a microphone. Of her 67 features films, only 12 were live action, but did include some cool titles, like Richard Linklater’s Fast Food Nation (2006) with Greg Kinnear and Bruce Willis; The Hottest State (2006) with Laura Linney; The Mist(2007) with Thomas Jane; and Not Cool (2014), where Cherami’s character Tori drops trou to smash her butt cheeks up against the window of a cable car and moon other people while giving the finger. She was also a child star, and before she turned 18, she had already added over 25 credits to her acting resume, on-screen parts, and some voices. And speaking of voices, Cherami was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Performer in a Leading Role at the BAFTA Games Awards, for her role as V in Cyberpunk 2077. On TV, you can hear her on such popular animation shows as One Piece, My Hero Academia, Beastars, Naruto: Shippûden, Hunter x Hunter, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Sailor Moon, and Pokėmon. For this work, she’s scored numerous wins and awards from Behind the Voices Actors Awards. So, yeah, she’s a really big deal in the recording studio. And she also has a really nice ass.
