A Spanish language series about the life of a man many refer to as Spain’s answer to David Bowie, this biographical look at notorious singer and film star Miguel Bosé has three different actors (Hugo Fuertas, José Pastor, and Iván Sánchez) playing the titular character throughout his life, starting with his childhood in Somosaguas. The son of conservative bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguín and liberal Italian actress Lucía Bosé, whose opposing temperaments helped craft his own avant grade personality, Bosé would go on to have a number of chart-topping hits and star in a long list of movies, including one with Italian actress Elsa Martinelli in 1976 called Garofano Rosso (Red Carnation). We see a scene from the making of that film in the series, with a topless Claudia Ferranti filling Elsa’s shoes. Claudia’s ripe tomatoes will have you saying mamma mia!
