Bonnie-Jaye Lawrence has what definitely ranks as the Best Ever Skinful Debut on Celluloid. She burst (quite literally) onto the Australian Skinematic Scene in 1997 with a leading role in Maslin Beach, which is an actual nudist beach in the Land Down Under. The entire flick takes place on the beach, which means, obviously, that everyone involved is completely naked pretty much throughout. They must have saved a bundle on their costume budget, eh? (Talk about bare-bottom film making…) The movie has a lot to do with relationships and life in general, so if one isn’t exactly into that, but wants to enjoy the hour-and-a-half or so of non-stop nudity, then the problem is easily solved. It’s called “The Mute Button.” We personally didn’t think it was all that bad, although concentrating on “plot” when there are scads of naked women traipsing about is a little more than the Ol’ Peanut Gallery here at Skin Central could handle. We can’t think of anything more Skintertaining than three completely naked women yapping about who-knows-what for an entire film, especially when one of the babes is the beautiful Bonnie-Jaye. For Skinophiles, this flick is second only to Sirens, so be sure to pick up a copy.
