Born Avantika Vandanapu but going by the singular moniker since around 2021, Avantika is a California-born babe of Indian heritage who studied drama at the American Conservatory Theater. In 2014, she took second place in the Zee TV dance competition reality series Dance India Dance L’il Masters and she was soon tapped to appear in Telugu-language films such as Brahmotsavam (2016) Babu Baga Busy (2017), and Agnathavasi - Prince in Exile (2018). She went from Bollywood to Hollywood when she nabbed the recurring role of Monyca on the Disney series Diary of a Future President (2020)m and took the spotlight in the channel’s 2021 TV movie Spin. Avantika showed she was all grown up and learning about The Sex Lives of College Girls in 2022 and then joined costar Rene Rapp in the film version of the Mean Girls musical film in 2024. She deftly plays “dumbest girl you’ll ever know” Karen Shetty, a member of the popular clique the Plastics whose favorite holiday is Halloween because it’s the perfect excuse to dress sexy! That’s why it's our favorite too! She’s no slouch on Christmas though, performing a daring dance number to a song about “rocking around the pole” while scantily clad. If Avantika ever went nude, it’d be a Festivus miracle!
