Actress Anna Palk possessed an angelic face and a curvaceous figure sent from Heaven. Actually, the lovely lass came from Cornwall, England. After being educated at Rise Hall Convent in East Yorkshire, the brainy beauty trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where her career took off. Indeed, if you fancy a swinging sixties chick, then chalk one up for Ms. Palk. Even though Anna was smoking hot, she was cast in Michael Winner’s musical Play It Cool (1962). Later Winner directed Anna again in the British horror flick The Nightcomers (1971) starring Marlon Brando and Stephanie Beacham. In fact, the alluring ingénue was known as a Scream Queen per her parts in the skinematic chiller dillers The Earth Dies Screaming (1964), The Skull (1965), and The Frozen Dead (1966). She also appeared in the small screen series Witch Hunt (1967). Yet, here at Skin Central, we’re partial to Anna’s part in The Tower of Evil (1972) which erected the trouser towers on fans everywhere. As Nora Winthrop, Anna plays a damsel in distress — and out of dress! You can bet this bone-chilling movie delivered plenty of boners when the bare babe revealed her rack in the sack! Unfortunately, that’s the last time the sultry starlet flashed some serious flesh. Alas, the pretty performer passed away in 1990. But she leaves behind a sexy legacy on film, (Fahrenheit 451), on TV (The Main Chance), and on stage (School for Scandal, Sexual Perversity in Chicago). Cheerio, you English Rose.
