Angel Express (1999) is the story of the devilish pre-millennial Berlin underground. There are druggies and clubbies and other assorted fringe fellows whose motto is live fast and die hung. Some characters are businessmen who love to get busy. Ironically, Ulrike Panse, who plays a hooker, doesn’t show her hooters. But in a film about decadence there’s sure to be enough pants-pleasing scenes to keep a penis happy. For example, Eva Habermann flashes her rack, Doreen Jacobi and Esther Bronnert expose their rugs, and Christine Hohenester goes bottomless, with her cooch covered in shaving cream, for some razor-sharp perv-action. But it’s Susanna Metzner who captures the cool allure of the film wearing only a cigarette. This Angel Express is a nonstop trip to ecstasy land.
