When it comes to Andrea Barber, looks can be deceiving. The bubbly brunette must be a great actress ’cause she convinced TV viewers she was a bit of a bimbo while playing Kimmy Gibbler on the ABC hit Full House (1987-1995). Yet this couldn’t be further from the truth since the pretty performer has a degree in English from Whittier College and earned her Master’s in Women’s Studies from the University of York in England. Despite such smarts, the brainy beauty guest-starred on small screen fluff such as Fantasy Island (1983) and Growing Pains (1990). But not before the appealing ingénue was cast as the original Carrie Brady on the daytime series Days of Our Lives (1982-1986). Ms. Barber really cleaned up on the soap since she was named Outstanding Youth Actress two years in a row from the Soap Opera Digest Awards. Andy also picked up two Young Artist Awards for her stint on the aforementioned sitcom Full House. Later, when she reprised the role for the sequel series Fuller House (2016-2020), Andrea and her comely co-stars Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin received a nomination for Best Chemistry from the Teen Choice Awards in 2016. No doubt, the nod had something to do with a sizzling scene that has the bikini-clad cuties donning sexy swimwear as they hang out in a hot tub. If Andrea would have hung out a little more, she might have scored an Anatomy Award since seeing her wet bikini-clad breasts had Mr. Skin housing fuller pants!
