“They tried to make me go to rehab/I said no, no, no,” sings high-haired, decorated-and-distinguished British chanteuse Amy Winehouse in her best-known hit, “Rehab”. Life imitates art, as Amy was almost as famed for her insatiable appetite for partying as she was for her sultry, soulful singing voice. She was a paparazzo’s dream, and the Brit tabloids were fond of running candid shots of Amy in barely there short shorts and cleavage-crushing tops—which, on many occasions, slipped to the side to reveal nip and lip. As such, most of her nudity happened on the street (and on her body, which was tattooed with three topless pin-up girls!). She almost got naked in print via an artsy snap for charity with her vag covered by a guitar and her nipples covered by duct tape, but that was the extent of her authorized exhibitionism. Mr. Skin sang “yes, yes, yes!” upon the release of the Oscar-winning documentary Amy (2015) because it supplied never-before-seen footage of the beehived beauty in all manner of skimpy attire. Short shorts and bras are plentiful, and there's even a nip slip while she's sitting on a boat and being playfully choked by her boyfriend. At least we hope it was playful... In the midst of a controversial yet undeniably successful career that garnered five Grammy Awards and millions of sold albums, Amy passed away, joining the "27 Club" with fellow music icons Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain. We're jealous of anyone who got to join the "69 Club" with this lustful legend.
