Although she is the daughter of legendary singer Billy Joel and his once “Uptown Girl” supermodel Christie Brinkley, Alexa Ray Joel says she had a pretty normal childhood since her parents worked hard to shield her from their fame. Eventually, however, Alexa began pursuing a singing career of her own. Not wanting to just get by on her father’s name, she played more than 100 shows before releasing her first album. Since then, the sexy songbird has been keeping busy in the music industry with releases such as the single “Notice Me” (2010).
