Belarusian arouser Aleksandra Bortich certainly didn't have an easy path to the big screen. Born in Svietlahorsk, but raised in both Grodno and Moscow, Aleksandra worked as a waitress while auditioning for roles. She finally landed her big break with a role in Kak Menya Zovut or Name Me (2014), a crazy drama about two women who opt to switch lives after meeting on a train. At one point, Aleksandra shows her beautiful T&A while checking out her body in the mirror. The camera even slows down to focus on her surprisingly plump behind. Aleksandra spent all her money from that flick and had to wait tables again, but she didn't have to wait too long to land a long running TV role as Nina Krutova on the Russian Olympic biathlon drama Vystrel. Aleksandra's career was launched, which led to roles in the rom-com about a speech therapist falling in love with her politician client About Love (2015), playing Lida Sokolskaya in the 1930's period piece Torgsin, and most impressively pulling a Christian Bale by gaining and losing over forty pounds for her role in I Am Losing Weight (2018). Don't worry, she looks good thicc too! It's a shame she didn't shed her too big clothes. Aleksandra was Nika on Politseyskiy s Rubiyovki, and Zhenya in Apple TV's florist who secretly runs a brothel drama An Ordinary Woman, but also appeared in movies like The Soul Conductor (2018), where she played a girl who sees ghosts, Mistresses (2019), where she played a wronged woman who creates a secret society, and most recently in House Arrest (2021), which is headed to compete at Cannes.
