2 Days in the Valley (1996) is 2 hot 2 handle — thanks 2 the fabulous flesh on the movie’s skinematic actresses! As the title suggests, it takes place within 48 hours. During this time, crimes and subplots collide in the Southern California setting. Per the talents of Danny Aiello, Eric Stoltz, Glenne Headly, Jeff Daniels, Louise Fletcher and Marsha Mason, there’s a suicidal director, a bad vice cop with a green rookie, a snooty art dealer with a bad case of kidney stones . . . as well as a couple of sexy femme fatales played by Charlize Theron and Teri Hatcher. The former dons a white spandex body suit and the latter sports skintight workout wear as they engage in a kick-ass catfight that makes audiences purr with delight! Even though Ms. Hatcher was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actress, Mr. Skin would have gladly awarded her with his banana! Equal parts neo noir crime story and dramedy, John Herzfeld’s R rated flick is one hundred percent arousing. This is definitely true when it comes to the scene when James Spader rips open Ms. Theron’s Teddy to expose her nude boobs! Talk about pulp friction! If that’s not erotic enough, Charlize shows off her bare (albeit bloody) breasts later in the movie too. With an image like this, we could use a few more days in the Valley. Suffice it to say, we give this caliente movie two thumbs and another part of the anatomy up!
