Virginia Valentine is a platinum-blonde stripper back in the days when that really meant something. She was a pioneer of peek with the comedy Strip Tease College Girls (1948) back when your grandfather was still able to get it up, and probably did to Virginia. She continued to bump-and-grind in The Art of Burlesque (1950) and was also featured in the burlesque documentary Peek-a-Boo (1953), in which she strips down to her pasties and G-string. She found work in the early 1960s on the British boob tube on series such as Somerset Maugham Hour and Scotland Yard, before taking her final curtain call.
