Una Sirenetta innamorata

Known in the English speaking world as Saban’s Adventures of the Little Mermaid, this Korean/Italian Anime co-production follows the adventures of Marina the Mermaid, who wants to be a human. After hearing a legend about a golden scroll that can change mermaids to immortal humans and re-unite the humans and mermaids, Marina thinks she’s scored but the evil Hedwig and her dopey shark, Dudley, are also going after the scroll. Cue much Manga hijinks. Why would we mention this kind of a show on a site like ours? Because the voiceover talent has shown skin previously! Cinzia De Carolis, who plays Hedwig, showed her hey-nonny-nonny through see-through undies in 1980’s Cannibal Apocalypse. Anna Kanakis, who plays Marina here, went down to some nice lacey black stuff in Zucchero, miele e Peperoncino in the same year. And narrator Daria Nicolodi showed her bellas 1978’s Schock.
