Grounded for Life (2001-2004)

Following its unheralded debut in 2001, Fox’s Grounded for Life somehow managed to stick around for an impressive four seasons (albeit with a mid-run switch to the WB) before finally petering out in 2004. Featuring a winning lead performance from the doughy Donal Logue and a cleverly time-twisting plot presentation, the series was just clever enough to avoid the axe all these years. With the mega-meloned Megyn Price as the merry mama and the lovely Lynsey Bartilson as the boy-hungry teenage temptress, the show capably managed to make us wish we were grounded . . . but only if Mom and Sis could stay home with us!
