Wetten, dass..? is German for "Wanna Bet..?" and if the success of this show is anything to go on, the answer is "Totally, absolutely yes!" Everyone wants to bet, from Pamela Anderson to 50 Cent and all the celebrity guests they've had since Wetten, dass..? went on the air way back in das ’80s. The gimmick of this game show is ordinary people offering to perform wacky, tricky feats while celebs bet on whether these TV grunts can pull off their stunts. Then, if the famous folk lose their wagers, they have to do something equally dumb.
