Exquisite exoticism and implicit eroticism are the hallmarks of the queen of quirky Uma Thurman. The daughter of Buddhists and the goddaughter of high priest of LSD Timothy Leary, Uma was named after a Hindu goddess. Unsurprisingly, after roles in movies like Kiss Daddy Goodnight (1987) and Johnny Be Good (1988) the former model was cast as the Goddess of Love in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988). She played a goddess of nipple teasing instead, standing naked inside of a giant clam shell but managing to mostly cover her body. Her peach pearls were unveiled for worship, however, in Dangerous Liaisons (1988). Uma takes off a frock and lets John Malkovich, who we've never wanted to be more than in that moment, kiss her topless body. Uma got artsy in Where the Heart Is (1990) when her breasts were painted with eyeballs for a living motion picture but is less avante garde in Mad Dog and Glory (1993) when she takes her top off for sexy time with Robert DeNiro, a scene that had us foaming somewhere other than the mouth. She was kicking a ton of butt, but not showing much onscreen until she made an oopsie and let loose some unintentional nippage while sunbathing in Be Cool (2005). When Uma's scorchingly hot, tall and thin bod are on the screen, being cool seems like an insurmountable task.
