Treme (2010-2013)

After the end of his series The Wire, creator David Simon came up with another hit in Treme. Set in the Treme neighborhood of post-Katrina New Orleans, a group of musicians and their families struggle with finances, interpersonal relationships, local politics, and life in a neighborhood ravaged by the hurricane. Dark stuff, but beauty and light come in the form of the show's many stunning cast members, such as blonde hottie Kim Dickens who thrills the Dickens out of us with a nice sweater meat shot.
