Tormented (2009)

The English love to be scared silly. So, in the tradition of What a Carve Up! (1961), Carry On Screaming! (1966), I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle (1990) and Shaun of the Dead (2004), comes the British horror comedy Tormented (2009) — not to be confused with the French drama Torment (1994), the American thriller Torment (2008) or the Canadian chiller diller Torment (2013). This teen pic tells the story of Darren Mullet (Calvin Dean), a bullied kid from Fairview High School who commits suicide. When his ghost comes back from the grave, he decides to take revenge on the girl he had a crush on: one Justine Fielding (Tuppence Middleton). We can’t blame him for liking her since the sexy brunette is a real looker. In fact, we were ogling her flesh when she has sex with Alex (Dimitri Leonidas). Too bad, she’s at a party to celebrate Darren’s death thrown by Bradley (Alex Pettyfer), Khalillah (Larissa Wilson) and Marcus (Tom Hopper). In other words, Justine is beautiful on the outside but not on the inside. The same can be said of the cleavage-baring Natasha ‘Tasha’ Cummings (April Pearson). Talk about a student body! Speaking of, Sophie (Georgia King) dons red undies as she struts her stuff until she drowns in a pool. No doubt, her barely-there briefs will make a splash in your boxers too. Sadly, none of these hot high schoolers get naked. As such, the movie shows more blood and guts than boobs and butts. That’s the real torment!
