The Very Last Day (2018)

For best-selling author, Raymond (Lawrence Ong), his world is in a bit of limbo when he releases his most recent novel.  He has a daughter who worships him and everything he does, but she is traveling away to college soon.  Then on the other hand, he has a wife who seemingly can't stand his guts for some unknown reason and you can cut the tension in the air with a butter knife!  Then on a third, and ultimately most scandalous hand, he has an ultra-sexy fan who is obsessed with him and continuously trying to lure him into situations where they are alone together.  When Raymond meets Melanie (Wei-Yi Lin), his adoring fan, at a book signing, she's laying it on pretty thick that she has eyes on more than just his newest book but equally as thicc...  When Raymond's wife politely asks for a divorce, he thinks he can move on with his admirer for a fling, but instead, she has a dark understanding of his latest book as something that parallels a tragedy in her teenage years and decides to kidnap the author ala Misery (1990).  SO as it turns out, there is something to the crazy people reading a book and thinking that they are somehow the main character and coming after the author with a baseball bat and a hot iron.  Unfortunately for us though, this crazy is scalding hot, so we might end up in a trunk ourselves and if you get one look at a naked Wei-Yi Lin, you might too!
