The Next Best Thing (2000)

The Next Best Thing (2000) is a romantic comedy starring Madonna as a woman tired of her failed relationships who ends up having a one-night stand with her gay friend, played by Rupert Everett, and they get pregnant, agreeing to raise their child together. It works, it really does, until after a few years Madonna gets hot and bothered over Benjamin Bratt. She takes their son to live with her new lover, which creates the dramatic tension that moves the plot forward. But for us the real dramatic tension was when and how much would Madonna get naked? Well, the Material Girl in mostly wrapped up in material, but does show off her ass, which is a real boy-toy, and her boobs in a diaphanous bar.
