The Mountain (2004)

Aptly named Anson Mount runs his family's ski resort in The Mountain, a short-lived drama from The WB. Anson's gramps has just gone six feet under, and grandson Anson's underwhelmed by the news that his deadbeat brother has been handed the whole business. If that's not tension thick enough to cut with a knife, Alana De La Garza is the source of more strife when she starts mountin' Mount even though his bro's her former beau. There's more conflict in the works involving a land developer and his dishy daughter, Elizabeth Bogush, but how it all ends nobody knows: The Mountain was canceled after thirteen episodes.
