She went through high school as a pom-pom girl, but Barbara Hershey graduated to become cinema's favorite naked hippie. Her wholesome early roles quickly gave way to naked displays in Last Summer (1969), The Baby Maker (1970), and Boxcar Bertha (1972). And don't miss Barbara's definitive display of free love in Dealing: Or the Berkeley-to-Boston Forty-Brick Lost-Bag Blues (1972). Improbably, Barbara then emerged as a serious actress in the '80s, thanks to her great performance in the intellectual ghost story The Entity (1983). (Her ghostly sex scenes would later be parodied by Tori Spelling in Scary Movie 2 .) Critical acclaim can't keep Barbara's clothes on, though, and she showed off a very sexy maturity in The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and Drowning on Dry Land (1999).
