The Mopes (2021)

The Mopes (2021) is one of those comedic dramas, a dramedy if you will. This German dramedy follows an aspiring singer-songwriter named Mat whose life stalls when Mat meets Monika. Just who is Monika? Monika is the embodiment of his mental illness and she has been assigned the job of trying to mess up Mat's life. She is moderate depression and she is visible to Mat, which is a surprise to her as well. Monika revels in the fact that she has become something that can be seen, heard, and interacted with as she continues her assignment of making Mat unhappy. Mat does not share her enthusiasm and he would prefer to enjoy is relatively stable life without Monika in it. Instead, Mat is looking for ways to get rid of Monika once and for all. Monika does not actually go nude, so that is something to be depressed about. instead, however, we can enjoy Trang Le Hong is a GORGEOUS hottie in black lingerie. She is an Asian beauty with long black hair that looks heavenly as she straddles Mat and makes out with him. His depression gets in the way, so she stands up and shows us her bod in her underwear. Katja Hutko similarly shows off her cleavage in a gray bra when she is trying to get it on with Mat. Again, depression interrupts the fun. Luckily, depression stays out of the way when clothed cuties Gina Henkel and Adina Vetter share a sapphic smooch in the opening credits of an episode. This is hot, even if they have clothes on. That being said, we say nope to clothes on The Mopes.
