The Girl Who Killed Her Parents (2021)

A Menina que Matou os Pais, or The Girl Who Killed Her Parents (2021), is a Brazilian crime film based on a true story that pairs with the film The Boy Who Killed My Parents (2021) to present the two wildly different sides of a shocking murder case! Both films open with the 2002 discovery of murdered socialites Manfred von Richthofen (Leonardo Medeiros) and Marisia von Richthofen (Vera Zimmerman), before jumping ahead four years to the arrest of their daughter Suzane (Carla Diaz) and her boyfriend Daniel (Leonardo Bittencourt). In this version of events, the wealthy Suzane falls for the lower class Daniel, thinking that he's a bad boy. In actuality, however, he's nowhere near as bad as she seems to want him to be and that presents a real problem for her. She ends up manipulating him by faking injuries and confessing to her parents that Daniel is actually abusive towards her, hoping that if they put up barriers to him seeing their daughter, he'll become angry enough to murder them. She sweetens the deal by dangling the prospect of a large inheritance that will be all theirs if he and his brother Cristian (Allan Souza Lima) can do away with her meddling folks. This shocking true story doesn't necessarily land on one side of the story over the other, even when paired with The Boy Who Killed My Parents, but both flicks feature a pair of nude scenes from the gorgeous Carla Diaz! It's safe to say that when Carla bares her pair, you're not gonna care who the real murderer is!
