The Enchanted (2023)

Recently separated from her husband, Irene (Laia Costa) heads to a village in the Catalan Pyrenees after handing off her four-year old daughter to her soon-to-be ex for a few days. It’s been so long since Irene was on her own that she doesn’t know how to be a person outside of being a wife and mother, and as she’s still reeling from the dissolution of her marriage, her loneliness and anguish is overwhelming. But what starts out as an escape eventually ends up as new beginning, pairing her with a motley crew of other characters in the small town.
