Buckle up, stick out your war dance tongue, maybe get a buddy to try and tattoo up your face in some tribal designs, and get ready for this pseudo-zombie horror story out of New Zealand, The Dead Lands. The story drops you right into the middle of ancient tribal Maori New Zealand and gives you a reason to be afraid of not just the war dances from opposing tribes, but also the undead as the dead are coming back to life and coming after everyone! We follow the proud yet disowned tribal warrior Waka Nuku Rau (To Kohe Tuhaka) who is tasked with helping out a young Maori girl Mehe (Darheen Christian), who might be the only one to save her tribe and pretty much everyone in the tribes known world! As the dead begin to come to life, pop out of the plush jungle world of New Zealand and grab the living, the tribal leaders decide that they need someone who is more than a man, more like an animal to combat the problem, so Waka Nuku Rau is their guy, but Mehe knows the location of the man who summoned the demons, so now they are in cahoots to kill the undead! Along they way they run into new and dangerous tribes, more zombie warriors than they can handle, as well as backstabbing babes like Kali Kopae, who shows a little bit of skin while trying to seduce our Maori man about the island! She gives us a little inner and side boob while trying to get the drop on him while giving him a quick roll in the bushes! So stick out your tongue and pound your Maori loving man meat, because it's the only way to fight off the evil spirits!
