No, it wasn’t a public service announcement warning about the dangers of the clap, The Burning Zone was a UPN sci-fi series about Dr. Daniel Cassian (Michael Harris) and his top secret federal biological task force devoted to investigating and/or preventing germ and disease disasters. But of course that’s not enough, there also had to be a secret bad guy organization called ‘The Dawn’, whose job it was to eliminate the worst virus on the planet – that of mankind. Way to make the believable unbelievable, producer-guys.
