The Bloom of Yesterday (2017)

Romance (among other things) grows in The Bloom of Yesterday (2016). Also known as The Flowers of Yesterday and Die Blumen von gestern, Chris Kraus’s German-Austrian dramedy centers around Totila Blumen (Lars Eldinger), a young man who works as a Holocaust researcher. But his world is turned upside down when he is assigned an assistant named Zazie (Adèle Haenel) since she’s a Jew who has a fear of Germans! As we wonder whether they will be able to work together, we get our answer when the two wind up having sex together. Unfortunately, it all happens in a dimly-lit scene. Still, we can clearly make out the bouncing breasts on Ms. Haenel. Talk about putting the motion into this motion picture! If that’s not hot enough, the hottie also shows off her fluffy muff. As an added bone-us, we get to glance at her magnificent ass. The skinternational flick also features Eva Löbau, Sigrid Marquardt, and Hannah Herzpsrung’s fabulous figure. As Hannah Blumen, the German actress exposes her acting chops as well as her nude boobs when she gets banged from behind in the shower. Too bad the skintastic act is interrupted when the phone rings. At least, Hannah is naked when she answers the call. All in all, the movie includes a good amount of nudity. Perhaps that’s why the film won both the Grand Prize and the Audience Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival. We’d be applauding it here at Skin Central if our hands weren’t already occupied elsewhere!
