We talked last Friday about Wes Craven's debut film Last House on the Left, but that was only the beginning of his contributions to the genre. Since he was such an amazing horror director, I thought that the Halloween season would be the perfect time to hone in on his films for Throwback Thursday. #TBT to Wes Craven's hot horror scenes.
Obviously, Last House on the Left featured Sandra Cassel's bare boobage in the opening credits of the film. He followed that film up with The Hills Have Eyes which did not have any nudity in it, but don't worry...more was coming!
He made up for that with 1981's Deadly Blessing. Maren Jensen stars in this disturbing film set in the Amish country, but what isn't disturbing is her sexy bod. A body double is used to show her bush and breasts when Maren steps in and out of a very steamy shower. Thank goodness the Amish are cool with showers!
1982's Swamp Thing was the next of his films to include nudity. While the movie is not a classic, its nudity definitely is. Adrienne Barbeau ran into the water naked. Wait, isn't this movie rated PG? It should be rated GP for Great Pair!
He went back to outdo himself when he gave the world The Hills Have Eyes Part II. The first film - which is truly horrific - does not have any nudity, making it even more horrific. He remedied that with his sequel that included a shower scene that featured TA from Colleen Riley. Hey, Mr. Craven loves a shower scene, doesn't he?
Penny Johnson also went topless in the movie, pleasing johnson everywhere!
And then there was another smash hit: A Nightmare on Elm Street. We were introduced to Freddy Krueger, the monster who terrorizes kids in their sleep. Your nightmares will turn into wet dreams when you see topless Heather Langenkamp (who also uses a body double in some scenes).
1988's The Serpent and the Rainbow is an underrated horror film that brings us a top-notch look at Cathy Tyson in the flesh. Well, she used a body double for the closeups of her cans, so kudos to that chick. Watch this sexy scene here and see Cathy turn on a serpent:
Finally, it all comes full circle with the 1996 horror-comedy Scream. While Scream did not have any nudity, it did a great job of showing just how innocent and virginal leading lady Neve Campbell was by having her wear lily-white lingerie.
Plus, Rose McGowan showed some of the most epic pokies in cinema history.
