Born in Beantown on July 27, 1984, lanky Boston blonde Taylor Schilling is a New England girl through and through. After graduating from New York University and Fordham University, Taylor began to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Her first role was in the Chinese/American co-production Dark Matter (2007) alongside acting legend Meryl Streep, after which Taylor was cast on the hospital drama Mercy, which struggled with low ratings for one season before NBC performed a mercy killing and gave it the axe. Taylor's career survived the misstep, and soon after she had us Ayn Rand-y as the no nonsense businesswoman Dagny Taggart in Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011), before Nicholas sparks flew between her and Zac Efron in The Lucky One (2012). After getting almost all of her work in the Academy Award-winning drama Argo (2012) left on the cutting room floor, in 2013 she scored the lead role on Netflix's women in prison drama Orange is the New Black. She got naked in the very first episode and swapped spit with an equally topless Laura Prepon and suddenly, Netflix was bringing in a whole bushel of shillings based on getting to see Taylor in the buff! Throughout the seven season drama, she was constantly showing it all in the shower, getting between the leg licked by Laura the former "Hot Donna", and having all sorts of convicts who don't need dick lesbian affairs.
