Tales From the Darkside: The Movie (1990) is an omnibus of horror and comedy and thrills, inspired from writers as diverse as Stephen King and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It even features the hot singer from Blondie, Deborah Harry at the peak of her popularity and hotness. Sadly, she doesn’t get naked. But Roe Dawn Chong does, if only for a flashing moment where her small left hooter is revealed. The premise of the movie is that a child has to tell three stories to distract a wicked witch from using the kid as dinner. It’s a classic set-up and serves as the glue to hold together the creepfest of mummies, hellish cats and sexy gargoyles.
