Suzane Carvalho started her career out in her native Brazil, first appearing on the silver screen in 1978’s Amada Amante, or Beloved Lover, when she was 15-years old—this was after she started acting as the age of two, beginning her resume of over 250 TV commercials. After a few years of growing up on such forgettable shows as O Homem Proibido, or The Forbidden Man; Chico Anysio Show, Study A…Gildo, and O Bem-Amado, aka The Beloved, Suzane finally returned to the movies with a turn as Angela Duvall in Women in Fury (1984). One of the lesser known examples of the exploitation classic “women-in-prison” genre, Fury tells the disheartening tale of innocent Suzane being jailed unjustly in a Brazilian prison where she is repeatedly assaulted by guards and fellow inmates alike. There’s even a gyno exam because, why not? The dishy dame followed that masterpiece with the cheese factory that is Nudo e selvaggio (1985) or, as it can probably be found in your local video outlet, Massacre in Dinosaur Valley. Of course, she was naked in this delightful little piece, playing Eva Ibañez, showing all her full figure in all its natural glory. Which reminds Mr. Skin—she was also naked in the October 1982 issue of Brazilian Playboy, and appeared on the cover. And then she quit acting in 1989 to become—are you ready for this?—a race car driver. In 1992, she won both the Brazilian Champion and South American Champion titles in the Category B of Formula 3 South America circuit. Vroom, vroom, Suzane!
