Stir Crazy (1980)

We guess if you're going to end up in prison, you might as well land there with your best buddy, right?  You might avoid going Stir Crazy if you and your bestie can figure out a way to survive in the joint! For failed playwright Skip (Gene Wilder) and struggling actor Harry (Richard Pryor), their life in New York is one mishap after another and when both of them get fired at the same time, they decide to load up the car and head west to California to try and make a go of it in Hollywood.  They pick up odd jobs along the way and when they get a song and dance gig at a bank in Arizona, they decide to take the quick money.  Only problem is, they have to dress up as woodpeckers for the promotion.  Then things take a fateful turn when their costumes are stolen and then used by the bad guys to rob the very same bank they are at!  So this pair of buds end up in hot water with the good ol' boy judge and get LONG prison terms for the crime they didn't commit.  Once they land in prison they learn the warden is a crooked rodeo fan who plans to make his prisoners ride tough broncos to pocket some extra cash for himself.  By sheer chance, Skip ends up being the best rodeo rider in the joint and they use his natural skill set to hatch an escape plan to get our of jail for good!  Lucky for us too, the juicy JoBeth Williams takes on the love interest to Gene Wilder and while there isn't any nudity from her, we do get a surprise little down-blouse from her in one scene!
