Squid Game (2021)

Just think of the favorite schoolyard games you used to play as a kid... Red Light/Green Light, Tug-O'-War, Tag, you name it, and they always bring back fond memories of elementary school and your oldest friends, well most of the time that is.  Now imagine those games with slightly higher stakes, like if you win, you get over $40 million dollars, and if you lose, you die.  This South Korean series put you right along side hundreds of mostly willing volunteers who have been asked to play games.  The snag for most of these people is that they are completely strapped for money, owing tons to debt collectors, so when they are presented with an opportunity to eliminate all their debts by winning one game of Red Light/Green Light, they happily accept, that is until the first guy who moves after Red Light gets his head blown off by a machine gun nest hidden in a turret on the wall!  Now these "contestants" truly know what kind of game they are really in, so they either win these children's games while the hundreds around them die brutal deaths, or they themselves lose the games and DIE BRUTAL DEATHS!  The third option of not participating, well that just means that you are eliminated from competition by being brutally murdered.  So there really are no winners in the Squid Game, only those who are striving to nab the giant growing pile of cash literally hanging above their heads!  Actually the only REAL winners might be us because we get a Nude-Comer debut from hottie Ji-Ha Lee and the stunning Hoyeon Jung in some white cotton panties and bra!
