MARIE AND BRUCE (2004)

THE SKINNY: Adapted from a 1979 play by Wallace Shawn (the voice of Rex the dinosaur in the Toy Story movies), Marie and Bruce stars Julianne Moore and Matthew Broderick in the title roles as a jobless Manhattan couple whose marriage is collapsing in comically spectacular fashion. We follow husband and wife on their separate ways through a day rife with whimsy and revelations, all of which leads to a party that neither one really wants to attend. Along the way, there emerges a seemingly magical dog, a series of dreamscapes, and the naked body of Julie Atlas Muz. Everything ends with a bang.

THE SKINNY: Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd are Wheeler and Danny Donahue, two energy-drink reps sentenced to community service in a youth mentoring program in the comedy Role Models. Wheeler is teamed up with wisecracking pre-teen Bobb'e J. Thompson, and Danny gets fantasy-role-playing geek Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Jane Lynch is the program’s ex-con director and Elizabeth Banks is Danny’s girlfriend. Soap star Jessica Morris is on hand as a teacher who gets topless for Wheeler. Any one who can get a babe from One Life to Live to show her tits is Mr Skin’s role model.
A SECRET (2008)

THE SKINNY: Inspired by a fact-based novel by Philippe Grimbert, A Secret chronicles Parisian teenager Franois (Valentin Vigourt) as he comes to grips with his family’s life during the Nazi occupation of France during World War II. Maxime (Patrick Bruel) is the kid’s father, who was engaged to Hannah (luminous, left-breast-baring Ludivine Sagnier) while Hitler was rising to power. Nonetheless, the would-be groom is drawn to sexy Tania (Ccile de France), complicating everyone’s personal relations while the world explodes around them. Ludivigne is one of Europe’s all-time most exports, and she is superseded in nakedness here by Ccile, making it no secret that A Secret is a must-see for nudity fans.
SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK (2008)

THE SKINNY: The directorial debut of celebrated screenwriter Charlie Kaufman, Synecdoche, New York stars Phillip Seymour Hoffman as a theater director attempting to build a life-sized replica of New York while he struggles to deal with his ex-wife (Catherine Keener), his current wife (Michelle Williams), and his new play. Michelle, Robin Weigert, and Emily Watson all flash flesh. They should have called this skin-ecdoche!
