The TNT series Saved chronicles the life of Tom Everett Scott, a paramedic with a gambling addiction and a messy relationship with his lady. His life is a perpetual series of peaks and valleys, with the adrenaline of work keeping him reeling until his shifts end and his thorny personal life begins again. Savory Elizabeth Reaser and Tracy Vilar play Tom's fellow saviors on the emergency beat; watching them work is good for your heart (and a few other parts).
